About Me - Fariba BSc(Hons), Lic Ac. MBAcC
My name is Fariba and I am a qualified practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (CICM Reading, Lic Ac. BSc Hons, MBAcC).
Acupuncture Barn offers a calm, supportive space where treatments are tailored to the individual, not just the condition. My approach is rooted in traditional acupuncture principles, with a strong emphasis on listening — really listening — to what the body is expressing. I take a lot of pulses. I work holistically, taking into account physical symptoms, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle, and long-term balance.
Many people come to me having tried other options and feeling unheard or frustrated. My role is to provide thoughtful, personalised care, stimulating the body’s natural ability to heal and regulate itself.
I have a particular interest in:
• pain management (head, shoulders, knees & toes! And back, of course)
• stress, anxiety and sleep issues (including grief, panic and high blood pressure)
• women’s health (all types)
Sessions are unhurried and adapted to your situation. Whether you’re seeking relief from symptoms or longer-term recovery, treatment is always collaborative and respectful. Acupuncture Barn is based in a quiet, village setting in Oxfordshire, offering a peaceful environment (with a Church view) where you can pause and reset. There is plenty of street parking and 1 flight of stairs.

Aims |
I am qualified in: 5 Element Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Electro-Acupuncture, specialised Ear Acupuncture (NADA protocol), and Cosmetic Acupuncture whilst I also practice Cupping, Guasha & Moxa treatments.
Naturally, treatment for pain relief and muscular conditions are commonplace, together with arthritic relief and many general malaise feelings are good candidates for Acupuncture. I have had good success treating clients complaining of shoulder pain, sciatica, menstruation and depression and been thoroughly impressed with the use of acupuncture to assist with shock and the grieving processes. I am also seeing excellent results with Facial Acupuncture, as an alternative to Botox treatments, leaving clients feeling positive and rejuvenated in addition to the physical benefits. You will find more information about the various treatments under ABOUT ACUPUNCTURE and TREATMENTS |
