I was browsing the headlines in the Daily Mail today and an actual interesting story caught my eye - about a Dragons Den investment in a business selling acupuncture ear seeds. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12982255/dragons-den-entrepreneur-chinese-ear-seed-therapy-chronic-fatigue-syndrome.html?ito=email_share_article-top As I practice ear acupuncture, with both needles and seeds (with excellent results), I see that it works for a range of conditions (your ear system is connected to many other organs in your body, like Kidneys). Whether this lady had full ME or a viral condition is not clear. And the comments on the story are depressingly negative - both to her and the idea that applying a sharp seed to selected points in the ear is somehow not worth trying. As the adage goes - don't knock it til you've tried it, and what have you got to lose. And of course a trained acupuncturist knows 'where' to place them (or needles) and can immediately detect changes in your body rhythms (pulse etc) when done right. I also saw a NHS brochure the other day, recommending acupuncture (NHS) for Fibromyalgia - a condition similar to ME.
